Svetlana Yampolskaya, PhD, is a Research Professor in the Department of Child & Family Studies, University of South Florida. Dr. Yampolskaya has considerable experience in the area of child welfare and, child maltreatment, and children’s mental health. She has designed, conducted, and participated in numerous studies involving the evaluation of child welfare interventions, and the examination of outcomes for children in the child protection system. A significant responsibility on these projects has been the use and integration of multiple administrative data sets including Medicaid, child welfare, and juvenile justice data sets. She has also been responsible for the development of indicators that measure child welfare agency performance and indicators of child outcomes including permanency, safety, and well-being. Dr. Yampolskaya is an expert in advanced statistical methodologies and has published numerous articles in which she has applied advanced statistical methodologies to address both theory-driven and practical questions. Currently, she is the lead evaluator on the outcome component of the Fidelity of Evidence Based Services Evaluation.
