Dr. Connie Walker-Egea is a Faculty in the Department of Child & Family Studies, College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at USF. Dr. Walker-Egea has conducted program evaluation and research in a variety of settings and with different populations. She has considerable experience with data collection using quantitative and qualitative methods, data analysis, and designing surveys and research instruments. Dr. Walker-Egea has been involved in coordinating data collection efforts, providing technical assistance, and conducting assessments. She has been working in multiple projects focused on the wellness of families with young children and trauma-informed care, families in the child welfare system, the Florida Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Initiative (MIECHV), Florida Project LAUNCH, and the effectiveness of the Family Intensive Treatment model, Nurturing Parenting Program, and Family Connections, among other projects.
